Task 5: Gap Analysis

Based on the information outlined above, the team will prepare a critical gap analysis that considers amongst other factors, gaps in:

• Current monitoring efforts;
• Environmental data management;
• Oil spill response infrastructure and operational framework;
• Maritime waste management;
• Institutional arrangements; and
• National and/or regional policy framework.
• The information will be collated into a gap analysis report.
